The automatic wire exchange system offers the solution whenever various basic materials are being used in one product, or whenever several products are being produced on one and the same welding robot installation and set-up times have to be reduced to a minimum.
The system works as follows: the welding wire is automatically pulled back and cut, after which another wire is being fed. The robot determines stick-out and goes on welding.
