First folding robot working at Anssems Aanhangwagens
At the end of last year, we announced the introduction of a universal folding robot; universal, because the folding robot can be used on every existing CNC-folding machine with back stop. In the meantime, the first folding robot was delivered to Anssems Aanhangwagens in Rijen where it is being used 8 hours a day for the handling of heavy profiles. Read more
3D Plasma cutting with robot affordable alternative for tube laser
With the successful deliveries of the first plasma cutting lines to greenhouse construction manufacturers, Valk Welding now offers a concept suitable for a broad range of applications in the world of steel construction. The 3D plasma cutting lines, provided with a plasma cutting robot and feeding and discharge system are able to cut tube, cylinder and profile material completely automatically in all kind of forms. They not only offer an enormous increase of flexibility and efficiency compared with traditional lines with loose drilling, punching and sawing machines, but they are also a good alternative for an expensive tube laser. Robot boosts production capacity
Kopal, manufacturer of fences in Kortemark, West-Flanders, has strongly increased its production capacity for fencing and gates by using a welding robot installation. The installation, supplied by Valk Welding, consists of a Panasonic welding robot in hanging position along a track of 21 m, three clamping places and an exhaust system for welding fumes moving along with the robot over the complete length of the track. The cell is operated by one man, and does the welding work of 2 men per shift. Read more
Robot continuously welding for 57 minutes
The largest production plant of New Holland & Case agricultural machines (CNH) is situated in the Belgian Zedelgem, manufacturing combine harvesters, choppers and bale presses. In 1998, Valk Welding installed here a first Panasonic welding robot installation, later followed by two Nachi spot welding robots. In the meantime, more than ten robots are used in various sections and the number of products welded by robot gradually increases. Read more
Robot welding of heat-resistant steel for valves
Valk Welding has delivered two robot installations to Caltax Marine Diesel B.V. in Kruiningen, specialised in reconditioning of parts for marine diesel engines. The installations provide worn parts of valves, valve seats and piston heads with a new wearing layer. Set-up times can be largely reduced when replacing the semi-automatic welding process by completely automatic robot welding using the off-line programming system DTPS that is also supplied by Valk Welding. In doing so, Caltax Marine Diesel B.V. was able to further improve its position on the fierce competitive market. Read more
